"The Softer Side of Marketing" Part 1 and Part 2

I ran across these two videos from our archives and as I watched them, I was again inspired and excited as we (Tim, Jalyn and myself) discuss the unique perspective of how to market to women along with a special experiece that myself and Jalyn had at a store called En-Twine.

I wanted to share these two videos with you, so be sure to grab the Download Links here:

Myself, my niece, Jalyn Webb and Tim join together to present this roundtable discussion.

Here are a few of the topics covered. Grab a pen and paper or whatever way you take notes, fix a cup of coffee, sit down and listen to these presentations.
  • Inner connection with women is vital in marketing to them
  • Marketing needs to touch the heart
  • Detail oriented
  • Visuals to enhance the experience are vital
  • Create experiences that touch the heart and stick with you. We sell experience.
  • When does an experience become a moment?
  • Target your marketing with a plan, strategy and timeline
  • Ask the question, “Is this important” to me? to my clients?"
  • Identify the different parts of media to use.
  • The older ideas about marketing just don’t cut it today.
  • Quotes-use ones that stir the emotional side of the brain. IDEA: Quote cards to put into orders. IDEA: Let your clients write a quote and display it in the studio. IDEA: Use quotes in social media.
  • Reaching an audience is not the same as engaging an audience.
  • Building relationships is the top marketing plan and everything circles around that.
  • Use Stories.
  • Have Purpose.
  • Charity involvement is important to women.
  • Every marketing idea needs a solid plan…how will you implement your plan?
