People expect good service, but few are willing to give it.

SUCCESS=SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!

In today’s marketplace, a great product, without service, isn’t enough!

Great customer service means creating a great relationship with each client, and thinking long term, not short term.

IBM’s  philosophy:

1. The client is always respected.

2. The client will receive the best possible service in the world.

3. Excellence is the goal of every activity.

From the book “Emotional Branding” comes this thought, ”Stop thinking transactions and start thinking relationships. A transaction makes the cash register ring only once. A relationship makes it ring again and again. Transaction implies monologue, relationship implies dialog. You add up transactions in cost per thousand. You add up relationship in cost per one. You and your employees play a key role in making this happen.”

What is service?

Once the  sale is complete, you have only just begun.

Service is paying attention to the client during all parts of the process, even when all is going well.  Don’t just offer service when you have fires to put out.

In conclusion, give you clients such great service that they will feel guilty even thinking about going somewhere else.
