We live in paradise (better known as Bluegrass country) which is smack in the middle of Kentucky. Around us, we see horse farms, bourbon distilleries, southern style homes a la "Gone with the Wind," and lots of greenery.
We are at home here.
Our loves are our family and our Frenchie, Baron. We enjoy the simple things in life; sitting on our back porch, smelling the peanuts being roasted at a Jif plant a couple of blocks over, hearing the whistle of the train as it goes through our downtown and seeing the fireflies light up the night during summer.
We have been professional photographers (our first love) and professional educators (a close second) for over three decades.
Tim mentored under his father and three uncles, all photographers in Kentucky and Indiana. Bev mentored under Tim and Tim's father as the three worked together to build Walden's Photography, one of the top studios in the region today.
We are who we are because of those who came before us. We stand on their shoulders. Our hope is to provide strong shoulders for others to stand on as we teach what we have learned and experienced in this amazing industry.
With so much online teaching available today, how do you know who to choose? Who can really help you? Who is reliable and experienced?
As you can see from our degrees, we have been at this awhile and are still driven to excel.
We are PPA approved speakers and we were on the first Kodak Mentor Team as well as both of us being members of the Society of XXV and Tim being a member Camera Craftsmen of America.
However, we feel the most important quality of any teacher is the ability to connect and relate to others and that is our goal in every endeavor.
